Kenya Simbas assistant coach has backed Shujaa to bounce back strongly in the World Sevens Series this weekend at the .

Kaytwa who doubles up as head coach said Shujaa have a quality squad that has delivered previously and that offers hope heading to the United Arab Emirates city leg.

“They always say it’s hard to box down a Kenyan because naturally they are built for resistance. That is what I expect from the team as they make a strong comeback in the series. The squad has quality and an experienced technical bench which has delivered in the past and I know they will deliver in the series,” Kaytwa told .

Kaytwa said Shujaa are in a tough group and expects them to shake off the rust quickly with matches coming thick and faster. The Kevin Wambua-coached Shujaa are pooled alongside France, South Africa and Australia.

«It is a tough pool that cannot allow any simple mistake because you will get punished. They have to be perfect in all departments and stick to the tactics that they have been given by the technical bench,” he pointed out.

Shujaa suffered relegation from the World Series last year after finishing 13th and had to contend with spells in the second tier Challenger Series. They reclaimed the core status instantly after defeating Germany in the relegation/promotion playoffs earlier this year.
