Harambee Stars defender put in a stellar display as battled to a 0-0 draw against Championship leaders on Saturday, keeping their promotion ambitions alive. 

Vyner, a key figure in Bristol’s backline, controlled the defense from the heart of a back three, securing three out of four aerial duels, winning a ground duel, and making a crucial goal-line clearance against Leeds’ in the second half. 

His composed, no-nonsense defending, complemented by a pair of important saves from goalkeeper Max O’Leary, kept the leaders at bay at Ashton Gate.

Firat has urged his players to use the CHAN qualifiers as a platform "to get into the A team" in future as they brace for South Sudan test.

The game was also significant for Bristol City boss Liam Manning, who made an emotional return after the recent passing of his infant son, Theo.

 This result marks Bristol City’s seventh draw in 12 matches, placing them just three points shy of the playoff spots, while Leeds missed the chance to close the gap on table leaders Sunderland, staying in third with 23 points.

In League Two, Kenyan international r missed out on Bradford City’s matchday squad in their narrow 2-1 home defeat to Doncaster.

 Goals from Luke Molyneux and Billy Sharp, set up by the impressive Kyle Hurst, gave Doncaster the lead, though Bradford’s Andy Cook added late drama with a header that reduced the deficit.

Over in League One, on-loan Everton midfielder was absent as Stockport County fell 2-1 to Lincoln City. 

Stockport took an early lead through Isaac Olaofe’s ninth-minute goal, assisted by Nick Powell. However, Lincoln equalized just before halftime with a strong header from Ben House, and then sealed the win after the hour mark with Kian Cadamarteri’s towering header.

Exeter also suffered a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield in the absence of Vincent Harper. Goals from Matty Pearson and Ben Wiles handed Michael Duff’s side a deserved victory.

Meanwhile, Zech Obiero made an appearance off the bench for Leyton Orient in their 3-0 loss to Wycombe Wanderers. 

Wycombe, who shuffled their lineup with five changes, saw Fred Onyedinma capitalize on an early error to score his second of the season, while Dan Udoh struck on the brink of halftime. 

Cam Humphreys rounded off the scoring midway through the second half, leaving Leyton Orient hovering just above the relegation zone.
