Former Olympics 800m champion Athing Mu is with photos and videos of her big day surfacing on social media.
Mu has pulled and until now, details and identity of the man who stole her heart have not been provided.
However, according to Mu’s ‘Prince Charming’ is none other than Russian athlete Yegor Nikolayev.
The 36-year-old is the man reported to have secretly married the 22-year-old even though the date and venue of the wedding are still a top secret.
Who is Athing Mu’s Husband?
Yegor Nikolayev was born on April 28, 1988 in Yekaterinburg, Russia and like , he is also a track star.
Nikolayev is a former Russian middle-distance runner, who has featured in 1,500m, 3,000m and 5,000m, and represented his country in 1,500m at the 2012 London Olympics.
Yegor Nikolayev’s biggest achievement on track is second place at the 2011 European Team Championships in 3,000m.
How did Athing Mu & Yegor Nikolayev meet?
It is not known when the two athletes met as they have kept details of their relationship private and only gave fans a glimpse with photos of their engagements.

and Yegor Nikolayev got engaged in September 2024, the announcement coming two months after the 22-year-old had suffered a heartbreaking US Olympics trials.
Mu had an unfortunate fall on her way to winning her 800m final and did not catch up with the rest. An appeal was later rejected and she missed an opportunity to defend her 800m final in Paris.
Following their engagement, the two started preparations for their wedding and in February, they had a bridal shower ceremony.
Athing Mu was seen dressed in an all-white outfit in the day and all-black at night during her bridal shower ceremony and this week, photos and videos of their wedding surfaced online.
Different reports claim and Yegor Nikolayev got married on March 8 and from the videos, she can be seen in an all-white wedding gown while her man donned a black suit, white shirt and a black bowtie.
The lovebirds went outdoors for photos after which they had a dance during the reception as the invited guests watched and applauded.

Yegor Nikolayev has been a key support system for with the middle-distance runner explaining on occasions how he helped her cope with her Olympics trials heartbreak.
Mu shared how her lover flew her to Malibu, California as part of the healing process and the experience proved to be a good therapy for her.

The couple will now look to explore new challenges together with Mu also having an interest in modelling which she wants to make a career out of, besides athletics.
With his experience, Yegor Nikolayev will also be among those giving advice to the 22-year-old as she continues to improve on track with an eye on the World Championship gold in Tokyo, Japan in September.
