Marinakis had been given a five match ban for spitting on the floor as the match officials walked past following Forest's 1-0 Premier League defeat by Fulham at the City Ground on September 28.
Wood’s goals helped Forest to remain unbeaten throughout the month, as Espirito Santo won the manager of the month prize.
Forest started the month with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, when they were reduced to 10 men.
It is less than a month after Chelsea received punishment for the same offence.
Wood, the first player from New Zealand to be the Premier League’s player of the month, scored a fortnight later when Forest beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at home, then struck twice in a 3-1 win at Leicester City.
The Kiwi joined Forest from Newcastle United in 2023, initially on loan.
