Cole Palmer made history by becoming the first player to score four Premier League goals in the first half as Chelsea came from behind to beat Brighton 4-2 at Stamford Bridge on September 28 in one of the seven Premier League matches played.

French footballer Gioginia Rutter gave the Seagulls a seventh-minute lead. The lead lasted only 14 minutes as Palmer brought the blues back to level terms in the 21st minute, with Nicholas Jackson providing the assist.

Seven minutes later, Palmer made it 2-1 from the penalty spot after Jadon Sancho was fouled in the box, sending Brighton goalkeeper Bert Verbruggen the wrong way, to mark a remarkable turnaround for the Blues.
