Kenyan winger has returned to Leicester City for treatment following a knee injury sustained during Wigan Athletic’s 1-1 draw with Lincoln City on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, who was stretchered off in the first half at the Brick Community Stadium, is set to spend up to five months on the sidelines.
Thomas, who had been on loan at Wigan Athletic from Leicester City, will now undergo rehabilitation at his parent club.
