FKF Premier League giants AFC Leopards have revealed the total amount collected from ticket sales during their thrilling 2-0 victory against Bandari FC on Sunday at Dandora Stadium.

The win extended Ingwe’s unbeaten streak to five matches and lifted them to fifth place in the league standings.

The match, which drew over 2,000 fans, saw tickets priced at Ksh 300 for terraces and Ksh 500 for the VIP section.

According to AFC Leopards, a total of 2,162 tickets were sold, resulting in a revenue of Ksh 659,700.

«Big Brother Firm handled the ticketing in our FKF-PL match against Bandari FC today at Dandora Stadium. We sold 2,162 tickets: 2,104 for terraces and 57 for the VIP section,» the club announced in a statement.

«We collected a total of Ksh 659,700 from the ticket sales. We take this opportunity to thank all of us for turning up for the match and your cooperation at the gates and ticketing points.»

The fans were treated to an intense showdownnwith Leopards putting on a late show to secure victory.

The win for K'Ogalo moves them just three points behind leaders KCB and with a game in hand, while AFC Leopards continue enjoying start to life under interim boss Fred Ambani.

After a goalless first half, Ronald Sichenje broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute, much to the delight of the Ingwe faithful.

As Bandari pushed for an equalizer, AFC Leopards capitalized on the gaps left at the back. Victor Omune delivered the final blow in the 84th minute, sealing a 2-0 win for the home side.

The victory saw AFC Leopards climb to fifth place in the FKF Premier League standings with 22 points, just five points shy of league leaders KCB.

Despite having the same points as Leopards, Bandari slipped to sixth place due to an inferior goal difference.

Speaking after the game, Leopards’ head coach Fred Ambani expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance.
