American business man Mark Cuban has explained why he thinks NBA superstar Lebron James will not make a good owner if the four-time NBA champion decides to own a team in the league.

Cuban was responding to a question from American football legend Shannon Sharpe and the host of the podcast on how the LeBron would fair as an owner in the NBA.

“It is going to be a lot harder. It’s a lot harder for a player as we saw with Michael Jordan. Great guy and he had some success but not as much as he wanted. It’s hard because players have one mindset and they look at other players in certain ways,” said Cuban.

The NFL legend has admitted he could lose millions of dollars from his podcasts after he accidentally streamed himself having sex on Wednesday.

The business man used Michael Jordan’s stint with the hornets to fire warning to James on how things might pan out.

Cuban himself an NBA owner with the Dallas Mavericks explained why he thinks former players do not make good owners.

«It is a completely different perspective to disconnect from. It is hard to be objective and have your player mindset. When you see general managers that were former players, it is the role players that make great managers and not great players.»

James has in the past made his desire to own an NBA team open, describing it as his life-long dream.

“I would love to bring a team here at some point, that would be amazing,” he told in October 2022 after playing a preseason game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

James would be just the second former NBA player to become a majority owner of one of the league’s franchise if he succeeds in fulfiling his dream.
