has opened up about the special bond she shares with American sprint queen Sha’Carri Richardson and where their friendship started.
Mary Moraa has always been a great cheerleader of , and this season, she has been seen cheering her on in different races including the Diamond League Meeting in Zurich. Both of them were coming from the Paris Olympic Games having not met their expectations and they managed to claim wins in Zurich.

“I can say Sha’Carri is my favourite, so we have been friends since 2022, so when we see each other competing it’s like ‘Wow’. She is my real best friend from my heart,” Moraa told when asked about her friendship with Richardson.
After their bounce back in Zurich, the reigning world 800m champion could not hide her joy as she shared a photo with Sha’Carri Richardson and captioned it: “Yes buddy…we bounced back like we never left.”

Mary Moraa and Sha’Carri Richardson seemingly met at the Diamond League Meeting final in Zurich where Richardson finished seventh in the women’s 100m final while Moraa won the women’s 800m.
