is not seeking forgiveness from Jamaican fans despite telling her boyfriend Noah Lyles what goes on at the MVP track club where Kishane Thompson, , and other track stars train.
Bromfield, in an interview with Sim Soul Sessions, insisted that the same fans who noted that it was wrong for her to tell secrets to are those who went to her DM and attacked her and her family.
She explained that they went after her late mother and insinuated that the only reason she is with Noah Lyles is because he supports her family and if she leaves, then they would struggle to make
Noah Lyles praised his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield for her resilience, calling her a "strong warrior" who always strives for greatness despite challenges, a quality he deeply admires.
“Honestly, I would say I’m not looking for forgiveness, especially from the people who came in my DM talking about my family, talking about my mother, those are the people asking for forgiveness. How are you going to forgive somebody who did nothing wrong?” Junelle Bromfield asked.
Meanwhile, issues started when Noah Lyles, speaking on a podcast, confidently talked about the drama that goes on at the MVP track club, noting that his girlfriend, , is the source of all the information he has.
“It’s funny because Junelle being Jamaican and having trained in MVP, I’ve been getting the drama from Jamaican camps for at least five years. There are a lot of times where I make references on Jamaicans and it’s not saying it because I know information that other people don’t,” Lyles said.
“Junelle and Elaine used to be very close friends in 2021 since they trained together and then she became close friends with Shericka, they are still close. In the series you also see Junelle doing Shericka’s hair. She was just buying wigs for Shericka to take to the Olympics,” he added.
Noah Lyles also opened up about knowing a lot of things that people are not aware of about Oblique Seville and
Lyles was aware of Thompson’s struggle with injuries since Junelle Bromfield was very close with the Jamaican sprinter. However, he explained that Junelle Bromfield also underlined the tons of talent that Thompson has with Noah Lyles backing her.
Noah Lyles has lauded US teammate Fred Kerley for playing a critical role in preventing Jamaican rival Kishane Thompson from clinching the 100m gold during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
“Talk about Kishane and Oblique, she is very close to Kishane. I mean, I’ve known a lot of people that others might not have any idea about,” Lyles said.
“I said that about Kishane because I know his struggle with injuries and I knew that when he runs fast, he might not be able to finish a race but seeing him win races is actually good.”
