The legendary Jamaican sprinter and his partner share three children, two boys and a girl. He first welcomed the girl, Olympia Lightning in May 2020 and then the twin boys, Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt came in 2021.
Sharing his experience as a father on the , hinted at the child he spends most of his time with and noted that he is the loudest in the family.

The multiple revealed that Thunder is not your typical child as he is used to screaming. However, he pointed out that it’s a wonderful thing being a dad and he would not replace it with anything else.
“So, I have my daughter who is Olympia and then I have twin boys, Saint and Thunder…Olympia Lightning,” Usain Bolt said.
“The deal was, with my girlfriend was that she got to name the girl and I got to name the boys so she stole Lightning, I actually wanted Lightning but she stole it. It’s loud…it’s very loud so my son Thunder, his name comes with his screams. Normally you cry but he screams but it’s fun and I really enjoy it.”
Meanwhile, fame has denied him a lot of opportunities to enjoy time with his kids publicly since everything about him is in the media and people would not give him peace.
In an interview with , he revealed that there are both the good and bad of being famous, noting that one positive thing is access to almost everything he wants. On the flip side, there is no privacy for him and he has to be cautious about everything he does.
“For me it was the access; you get to enjoy, you get to games and restaurants and all this, but your personal life and everything is in the media, and you don’t get to enjoy dinner as you want or just take the kids out. Like I have kids now; you can’t just go to the park; you have to be careful. So those are the things that you have to give and take,» Usain Bolt said.
