is already thinking about competing at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games weeks after racing at the Paris Olympic Games.
In an interview with, Noah Lyles explained that his family comprises Olympians and his career revolves around competing, the reason behind his desire to feature in as many events as he can.
The three-time world 200m champion noted that the are the first on his mind before Brisbane as he looks to continue competing for as long as he can.
800m Olympic champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi has given a hilarious account on how his family members, including his own mother, were surprised to see him running on TV at the World U-20 Championsips in 2021 after assuming he had initially "ran away" from home.
“I think of my career as a whole. A lot of people are like, ‘Are you thinking of going to LA?’ I’m planning on going to Brisbane (in 2032) (laughs). Of course, I’m thinking about LA. I come from a family of track and field athletes, not just athletes but Olympians,” Noah Lyles said.
“I thought becoming an Olympian was like getting a driver’s license — you study up for it then go out and get it. Being around three-time Olympians, four-time Olympians, five-time Olympians (my whole life), it was just natural to be an Olympian growing up,” he added.
The triple world champion did not have his dream Olympic Games in Paris, managing to win only one Olympic gold medal and a bronze. He claimed gold in the men’s 100m, beating to second place.

In the men’s 200m, Noah Lyles managed to claim a bronze medal after testing positive for COVID-19. won the race as Kenny Bednarek finished second. Lyles did not race in the men’s 4x100m relay due to his condition when the American team was disqualified due to faulty baton exchanges.
“So of course, I want to go to LA. I want that to be my greatest Olympics ever. It’s rare that you ever get a chance to run at the Olympics but even more doing it in the US,” he said.
