Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles believes his ‘high ambition’ is the reason he tries out different things away from track and field.

Lyles, known for his outspoken nature, is among athletes who are comfortable away from the track and has ventured into content production where he has a YouTube channel while he is very active on other social media platforms.

The sprinter also attends various sports events while he has embraced things like fashion and entertainment, taking his brand beyond track and field.

Olympic champion Rai Benjamin has revealed why he agrees with fellow track star Noah Lyles on the importance of surrounding oneself with like-minded people.

Lyles has been reaping the benefits with the exposure allowing him to hang out with stars from other industries while also making money and deals from it such as his recent race with YouTube sensation IShowSpeed.

The world 100m champion says his nature does not allow him to be locked into one space as that might even have a detrimental effect on his mental state.

“I just wanted to be the best. I learned very early on that my ambition was extremely high in whatever I touched and it is that, that springboards me into everything,” Lyles said on podcast while in a conversation with fellow sprinter Rai Benjamin as well as Mr Beast.

“It is why I can’t stay in one place. I love to try to be as versatile as possible. If I’m just stuck in being a track and field athlete, I might get depressed because I’m just stuck here and all I can think about is that.

“No, I want to touch as many things as possible and be able to have fun with it.”

Lyles has indeed made his name big thanks to his decision to be everywhere, setting him apart from other track stars who are comfortable running and going home.

Junelle Bromfield’s relentless nature was on full display as she had to drag fiancé Noah Lyles to a store to help her find a solution to one of her recent failed experiments.
