Could Thompson-Herah be on her way to MVP Track Club?

That was the question on the lips of her fans after she did what MVP Track Club head coach Stephen Francis has been advocating for his athletes.

Thompson- deleted all her photos and posts on , leaving fans speculating whether she could be on her way back to the stable that made her the superstar she is.

Stephen Francis has previously explained why Elaine Thompson Herah needs to consider moving to the United States if she is to stand any chance of overcoming her injury problems to return to the top.

The five-time Olympics champion split with coach Reynaldo Walcott in September, joining Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is leaving the Elite Performance Track and Field Club, and there has been reports that she was in negotiations with Francis over a possible return.

Her latest move to delete all her Instagram posts is being seen as perhaps a realignment given Francis’ sentiments in August that he was looking to social media activities of his athletes, who include Olympics silver medalist Kishane Thompson and world 200m champion Shericka Jackson.

«I believe I’m going to try to implement a policy for the athletes to delete social media before they start competing,» Francis shared with the Jamaican Observer. «It’s too much of a distraction, and they spend too much time on their phones.»

Jamaican sprint legend Elaine Thompson-Herah is looking for a new coach for the third time in three years but there are doubts whether the change will return her to her glory days.

However, Thompson-Herah is among athletes who have maintained a low profile on social media throughout her career and her latest move could be due to something else other than rejoining Francis, whom she worked with between 2016 and 2021, enjoying remarkable success that yielded five Olympics gold medals.

The Jamaican sprint legend had a poor 2024 season when an injury locked her out of the Paris
