Conner Mantz, still a very young American long-distance runner, has revealed that surpassing milestones is only way he would agree to rest on his laurels.

The US champion strongly believes in his potential and revealed that going into the Paris Olympic Games and the New York City Marathon, he was confident of a podium finish.

“Not that they went poorly, but I think just kind of missed this…I expected to do a little bit better. I thought that would come together … and I’d do something really big that day. And I don’t think I did,” he shared.
He has already started his 2025 season, finishing second at the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and United Airlines NYC Half.
