Two-time world cross country champion has lauded efforts from the Great Chepsaita Cross Country organisers as she highlighted the main reasons she will be gracing the event.
The double expressed her excitement towards the event that is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Chepsaita, Turbo. Chebet believes the event not only emphasises the need to nurture young talent but is also keen on embracing education.

Olympic champion Gabby Thomas has wowed fans with recent gesture, extending an olive branch for upcoming athletes to navigate challenges in their transition.
“I’m very excited to be here and I’m grateful to our government and the Chepsaita Cross Country organisers, since he has given a lot of young athletes to nurture their talents,” Beatrice Chebet said.
“Apart from talent, we are running for education and I’m so happy because as a country, we have started balancing between athletics and education and I’m so excited.”
