coach Stephen Francis of the MVP Track Club has explained he would not rule out the possibility of taking back Elaine Thompson-Herah back, insisted why it would still be improbable.

Francis, who also coaches Olympic silver medallist as well as insists that his camp has a lot of young talent, which is their main priority and bringing back Elaine Thompson-Herah will be a bit tough because she will not get the attention she needs.

Stephen Francis has previously explained why Elaine Thompson Herah needs to consider moving to the United States if she is to stand any chance of overcoming her injury problems to return to the top.

The expressed his remorse for what is happening to , with the injury cases and missing the Olympic Games but he explained that they never got the chance to bond during the time he trained her and it makes it difficult for him to take her back. However, he added that if the opportunity came, he would not say no to her.

He told that there are very few coaches who can handle the multiple Olympic champion and if she is to thrive, she has to relocate to the US.

“She can’t fit at MVP at the moment because MVP right now has too much talent which is a priority. It would be difficult, I mean, I have a lot of sympathy for Elaine, it’s hard to coach somebody for over 10 years and not develop some kind of bond,” Francis said.

“I don’t like to see what is happening to her right now so I’m not going to say the priority we have right now is that we have a lot of young girls, potential superstars as young as 18 and we have them growing up to 22. Those are the priorities we have right now alongside the older ones.

“I don’t know if it would be possible to bring back somebody of that stature but as I said, I already suggested what she should do. We never say no but it would be difficult to see that happening at the moment.”

This comes after the recent speculation that is considering moving back to MVP Track Club after parting ways with Reynaldo Walcott. Late last year, the Jamaican sprint queen announced her split from Shanikie Osbourne and less than a year later, she has already left Walcott’s camp, alongside
