On the final day of the Paris 2024 Olympics, the women’s marathon will take center stage, starting at 9 a.m.
This grueling race will connect the historic Hôtel de Ville in Paris with the opulent Palace of Versailles.
The marathon’s route is a scenic yet demanding challenge, weaving through nine districts of the Île-de-France region, including Boulogne-Billancourt, Sèvres, and Meudon.
Participants will face a formidable 436m climb and a 438m descent, with a punishing 13.5% gradient at its steepest point.
The final day is poised to be an epic culmination of the Games, as athletes push their limits on this historic course.
