Tusker FC coach has challenged his side to use their FKF Cup elimination as fuel to fire them to FKF Premier League glory.
Tusker were the first big casualty of the cup upsets when on post-match penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time in the Round of 32 last weekend.
The Brewers are now left with the league as their only chance to lift a trophy this season and Okere wants the cup loss to be a key motivator for his players.

CAF president Patrice Motsepe has set high expectations for his fellow South African Benni McCarthy who was recently appointed Harambee Stars coach.
“It was very heartbreaking honestly to bow out of the cup. It was one of our season’s targets to win both the cup and league title,” Okere told
“We had a good chance to progress in the cup but we did not have a good game against Nairobi United.
“It is hurting, it is painful but we have to put that behind our backs. We now have to channel that frustration and use it as energy to push us into the fight for the FKF Premier League title. We have made it known to the players that we now have to give our all to win the league.”
Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has recalled one forgotten deender who has been out of the team since 2021.
Tusker are in a tight title race that also involves league leaders Kenya Police and defending champions Gor Mahia, sitting second on the log with 41 points, one behind the law enforcers, while K’Ogalo are two adrift and with a game in hand.
With 11 games to go, there is no margin for error for any of the three teams and Okere will hope for a consistent run of wins for his team for the rest of the campaign to win the title they last claimed in 2022.
