Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is among the most successful female athletes in the globe, having won 10 world titles and four Olympics crowns.

Thanks to her success on the track, in prize money as well as attracting lucrative endorsement deals.

AFIMI offers an all-natural plant-based line of hair products, including conditioner, shampoo, hair serum, styling cream, and scalp balm, going in line with the sprinter’s love for hair.

Fraser-Pryce , which she described as a vibrant tribute to her Jamaican roots and a testament to her belief in self-expression through hair.

The product has been rebranded from Lady Shelly Beauty, launched in 2017, to AFIMI with its grand opening set to be held in Jamaica on a yet to be known date.

Chic Hair Ja Salon

Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce took her love for beauty to the next level when she launched Chic Hair Ja salon in Kingston, Jamaica in January 2014. Besides making women look beautiful, the salon also retails virgin hair and products to care for these extensions.

The decision to start the business was not just about profits money for her but also creating employment opportunities for Jamaican youth.

«I get bored easily with my hair. Sometimes I want to cut it, or color it. I like to experiment. It’s much easier with extensions, without having to harm my hair underneath,” Fraser-Pryce, who spots colorful wigs, told

«I have a passion for creating jobs. A lot of young ladies in Jamaica leave schools with degrees and end up sitting at home. But if I can create a difference for some of them, I think, it goes somewhere.”

Pocket Rocket Foundation

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is also one of the biggest philanthropists in Jamaica all thanks to her Pocket Rocket Foundation.

Started in 2013, the Pocket Rocket Foundation is aimed at giving needy but bright students full scholarships in Jamaica and has been growing in stature since giving scholarships to seven students in its first year and by 2024, it to needy students.

The students are selected from a pool of hundreds of applicants and each scholar receives $100,000 to cover school expenses, along with Nike bags, GraceKennedy gift baskets, and $5,000 gift vouchers, all thanks to the millions Fraser-Pryce has been able to raise for the foundation through her partners.

Fraser-Pryce and even as she plots her comeback after her recent spell of injuries, she looks to be already set for life beyond sprinting.
