Spanish track and field coach Pau Fradera has taken a slight dig at legendary Jamaican sprinter for his lack of control during running as a teenager.

Fradera, who led Spanish sprinting sensation to the finals of the European Championships, questioned the eight-time Olympic champion’s technical ability.

Junelle Bromfield was heavily criticised for supporting American Lyles in Paris instead of compatriot Kishane Thompson, something that did not go down well with Jamaican,

In his argument, Fradera believes Australian sprint sensation triumphs Bolt in all the aforementioned attributes when the 11-time world champion was in his formative years.

«Technically he is already better than Bolt. As a teenager Bolt lacked a lot of stabilization, he was from one side to the other, he ran very uncontrollably. Gout is much better at that. Although the most amazing thing he has is his stride,” said Fradera as reported by .

Gout Gout has been tipped to have a bright future in sprints and his coach Di Sheppard explains how she spotted the talented 16-year-old.

Gout Gout has taken the entire track and field realm by storm. The 16-year-old Australian has broken some major records in the 200m. Clocking 20.04s, Gout broke Usain Bolt’s record of 20.13s from 2013. This has led to the upcoming phenom being compared with the Jamaican track and field legend.

Gout Gout did not just break Usain Bolt’s record but also shattered a 56-year-old Australian record. After his whirlwind run, comparisons with Bolt started to emerge with critics even stating that the Australian has the potential to topple Bolt’s world record timing of 19.19s very soon.

Athletics Australia said they don’t want to ‘temper’ with the development of Gout while World Athletics president also urged caution for the 16-year-old who is touted as the next big thing in sprints.

Bolt gave his own verdict on the Aussie phenom after being asked for his thoughts by a fan. Responding on , the 38-year-old said: «He looks like young me.»
